KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’, 336-323 BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.52 g, 12 h), Babylon, struck under Peithon, circa 315-311. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. Club, quiver and bow; to left, monogram within wreath; to right, M. Price 3744. Rare. Somewhat porous, otherwise, nearly very fine.
